<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Hello</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">As I mentioned previously I was asked to make some musical cards for a friend of mine's partner. I made a few as I liked the idea. Here is one I made using Sheena Douglass' Day of the Dead Danse Macabre stamps.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh095oZ4twx5Tq0zTR5T6RNEiB8lTLG-eX723Z_VqEdxEA2PdEfL9Zw55ABlAuTYI1JMxD__iiVIcSOFLLFGuGm0e5S5p0dDEAMGrtAjlmjcsEXeVNViaUd3Bb0xKBAhMSrPlQ6AmYM15Es/s1600/IMG_4360.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh095oZ4twx5Tq0zTR5T6RNEiB8lTLG-eX723Z_VqEdxEA2PdEfL9Zw55ABlAuTYI1JMxD__iiVIcSOFLLFGuGm0e5S5p0dDEAMGrtAjlmjcsEXeVNViaUd3Bb0xKBAhMSrPlQ6AmYM15Es/s320/IMG_4360.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<span style="font-family: '"arial"', '"helvetica"', sans-serif;">I started off cutting a 6 x 6 card using the A4 black card from Crafter's Companion. I die cut a circle in the centre. Then taking the guitar stamp I heat embossed it in gold onto a piece of black card and cut it out.</span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjzizJ3xPIPytF3L11esxq-BqvStJT9Bahg45AWyjlX7tOUjVvqaaTKYltG27EcuKCPuaJz7m3u58a_w3W3wTmZM7mGGzjdtMlXG24G7cyaCPpsBqUhVC5HQoFjdVB__l9oAwk6mhLHR6k/s1600/IMG_4361.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjzizJ3xPIPytF3L11esxq-BqvStJT9Bahg45AWyjlX7tOUjVvqaaTKYltG27EcuKCPuaJz7m3u58a_w3W3wTmZM7mGGzjdtMlXG24G7cyaCPpsBqUhVC5HQoFjdVB__l9oAwk6mhLHR6k/s320/IMG_4361.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">The</span><span style="font-family: '"arial"', '"helvetica"', sans-serif;"> 'stream' of music stamp I heat embossed it in gold straight onto the card. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: '"arial"', '"helvetica"', sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpW8lIRHIBucqk5d7cHPdBWsHONJnhCIowQGfwyzwAGn-zd0DmC0lpendRwfYnL9YYzvk2uxhFVixaPDXYdqdNaX3eeXRbFvmOyhoVsluofCIk2Civ2ZDAOnp-8MR-6hKai2PqSLM_cdpD/s1600/IMG_4362.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpW8lIRHIBucqk5d7cHPdBWsHONJnhCIowQGfwyzwAGn-zd0DmC0lpendRwfYnL9YYzvk2uxhFVixaPDXYdqdNaX3eeXRbFvmOyhoVsluofCIk2Civ2ZDAOnp-8MR-6hKai2PqSLM_cdpD/s320/IMG_4362.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: '"arial"', '"helvetica"', sans-serif;">For the stars I used Jayne Nestorenko's Cute Companions Wish upon a Star stamps which I also heat embossed straight onto the card.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">I put a piece of gold mirri card behind the cut circle and stamped and heat embossed the sentiment directly onto it, positioning it carefully!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">I also made the same card using silver instead of gold, but I didn't like it as much.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Thank you for looking.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Hello</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I was flicking through my pictures of cards I have made and came across this one. I had come across a sample of a K-card, probably from Crafters' Companion!, and decided to have a go.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I had just bought the Create-a-Card cup cake die and thought it would make a brilliant K-card.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmwcx8DbXziI6c_PJ-UNvavYhsuzTTay4nwmksjkcIesSm5a_7YITEKcUB-7zRuNG1e-M2cnT7beyYF549ne_ApxXD7fUQI8kXU7RBCiU4zJ32U-RS9AsMB2FJvlqVofsOxkWEbJuRQo5X/s1600/IMG_4688.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmwcx8DbXziI6c_PJ-UNvavYhsuzTTay4nwmksjkcIesSm5a_7YITEKcUB-7zRuNG1e-M2cnT7beyYF549ne_ApxXD7fUQI8kXU7RBCiU4zJ32U-RS9AsMB2FJvlqVofsOxkWEbJuRQo5X/s320/IMG_4688.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">So, I used a pink glitter 6 x 6 card from my stash and cut the cup cake die from some pretty paper I also had in my stash. Luckily the glitter card was pale pink on the inside. You do need to use double patterned card as the die needs to have a contrast on the inside. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgf6pOgHBf3JtqCSgBGobI6uBWm71wD5Hx-U3hvDQzN56uac-D_bFH-ejnJ3naJKIX7mLse3enp7FJQUGbHo_oZ93J3IF0ayeiWnHJFT3XXrvrSbuNEIW99ZMvgv1P3wSOymtznQbqKKVyd/s1600/IMG_4689.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgf6pOgHBf3JtqCSgBGobI6uBWm71wD5Hx-U3hvDQzN56uac-D_bFH-ejnJ3naJKIX7mLse3enp7FJQUGbHo_oZ93J3IF0ayeiWnHJFT3XXrvrSbuNEIW99ZMvgv1P3wSOymtznQbqKKVyd/s320/IMG_4689.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I liked the way the glitter card showed through the die cut, adding glitter without me having to.</span></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSkBCRkfHtUWe0YcL6oPtP3pv7kqdVOxkHNmzQ3TSMQlcsoRy_ABsifnu4D694p-QNt4htF8K7eUwLSkMFM7_qgsDHvee-4iuN9_8JIK3gUS7EzIxr6RMLcAMusKzvPFdqVQu9nYc7R8cT/s1600/IMG_4691.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSkBCRkfHtUWe0YcL6oPtP3pv7kqdVOxkHNmzQ3TSMQlcsoRy_ABsifnu4D694p-QNt4htF8K7eUwLSkMFM7_qgsDHvee-4iuN9_8JIK3gUS7EzIxr6RMLcAMusKzvPFdqVQu9nYc7R8cT/s320/IMG_4691.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Then I cut another cup cake into the centre of plain A4 white card, which I had folded into a zig-zag shape, and carefully folded the cup cake in half, pointing upwards. I also embossed the card through the die using pink ink and added some pink glitter to the flowers.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwIia8FT7ZpNlqr_txEhDa7D2Gg5Zurnxi-mBLygnImNY1E3yEfsg5dMonfN_LWRoJqsWNqtg3Pjr2h-YsEPIlblIMKm71R8EAIT7Osh4C6qnDmALlzzC5NV5Xxvz6gtxbxJPlAlwDLJ8q/s1600/IMG_4692.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwIia8FT7ZpNlqr_txEhDa7D2Gg5Zurnxi-mBLygnImNY1E3yEfsg5dMonfN_LWRoJqsWNqtg3Pjr2h-YsEPIlblIMKm71R8EAIT7Osh4C6qnDmALlzzC5NV5Xxvz6gtxbxJPlAlwDLJ8q/s320/IMG_4692.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I fixed the die cut at the sides, leaving the cup cake free so it could pop out when the card is opened.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9QsaQOBjep5jd3NZSLnxhPbVYWuPLIWzjIuOxorK79N7oP48TjegIlb9BCIHSd6QKO7Agj7mf9BjQK7Sq-0XXUSZAmgu8ApGqs8m82Rb-fUrZp8bpTdDOKjm-u2sF7HyOpN6L62KKiuj1/s1600/IMG_4693.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9QsaQOBjep5jd3NZSLnxhPbVYWuPLIWzjIuOxorK79N7oP48TjegIlb9BCIHSd6QKO7Agj7mf9BjQK7Sq-0XXUSZAmgu8ApGqs8m82Rb-fUrZp8bpTdDOKjm-u2sF7HyOpN6L62KKiuj1/s320/IMG_4693.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I added some more glittery card which I had in my stash over the ends of the card, hiding the white card.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNv6wNvZiZy6Up0aMMZIy005J79cuwyWoP5MgoKsA2ebW1k_7PHu7Pei_diySFt53P5p7f1XK2dauLAC9tpDysjEcjuMSo268IG0gUZIiR8jAty5ln6-FDmfHiCoBu7vIuLp0gfg10YTfX/s1600/IMG_4694.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNv6wNvZiZy6Up0aMMZIy005J79cuwyWoP5MgoKsA2ebW1k_7PHu7Pei_diySFt53P5p7f1XK2dauLAC9tpDysjEcjuMSo268IG0gUZIiR8jAty5ln6-FDmfHiCoBu7vIuLp0gfg10YTfX/s320/IMG_4694.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The 'Happy Birthday' letters were just cut outs I had and I popped them on the card using Collal decoupage glue so they would stand proud. I must say it was quite difficult fixing the word 'Birthday' down one side, but somehow I think it works!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Thank you for looking.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Hello</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Today I thought I'd show you a Special New Baby card for a baby who was desperately wanted.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjE3_dddNaKvTuftC3GdE4jGY8qGWPnzOuZ3QvuuHJy-3-c59xCrLgWvMGZRUUT8yj0-OMMBPZ7pqXKjfG56vQZPPoCGtVDk6STiHdzO708wfr3bNNMhdqB9FVTrCAymBrmIfH6noMVsYSE/s1600/IMG_0505.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjE3_dddNaKvTuftC3GdE4jGY8qGWPnzOuZ3QvuuHJy-3-c59xCrLgWvMGZRUUT8yj0-OMMBPZ7pqXKjfG56vQZPPoCGtVDk6STiHdzO708wfr3bNNMhdqB9FVTrCAymBrmIfH6noMVsYSE/s320/IMG_0505.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This is the end result with the envelope I made as well, using Crafter's Companion Envelobox, as I needed it to have a little bit of depth. I used Centura Hint of Silver card and cut a couple of sticky velcro dots to close it.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggjcdch4R-9p0Xw_BAbeETHwW6hEt6PR6xt7dQsDpM82rEu2YtVTi_ChasQtdtcqjMDtU5WvKkDESD2kUBUOC-95lKwwdppgJE3NMdBfgi_vtXbg0jmbWaq-j8PAzrX4g205UKExAU19AY/s1600/IMG_0506.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggjcdch4R-9p0Xw_BAbeETHwW6hEt6PR6xt7dQsDpM82rEu2YtVTi_ChasQtdtcqjMDtU5WvKkDESD2kUBUOC-95lKwwdppgJE3NMdBfgi_vtXbg0jmbWaq-j8PAzrX4g205UKExAU19AY/s320/IMG_0506.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I had cardboard cutouts of the letters to make 'baby' and thought it would make a lovely card. I am sorry I can't remember where I got it from as I've had it for quite a few years. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmWIvasR0yUuhIQ3EmTbfK9mxkiWrm1vBIkdSBXUK86Elyf2RZvTKmHPBehzCVYfRWssC_92_15RboQDK5lrbmSA6Wr0LR2wEGXcTUS2Ojbn1sWTUIgno44Qd-Qe1_eGcwt48pQ_GPp9FQ/s1600/IMG_0507.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmWIvasR0yUuhIQ3EmTbfK9mxkiWrm1vBIkdSBXUK86Elyf2RZvTKmHPBehzCVYfRWssC_92_15RboQDK5lrbmSA6Wr0LR2wEGXcTUS2Ojbn1sWTUIgno44Qd-Qe1_eGcwt48pQ_GPp9FQ/s320/IMG_0507.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I cut out the letters using Bazzil card stock as I didn't want it to be too thick and heavy. You can see the letters have an extra length of card so you can punch holes in to fix the card together. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9jN291ksFw8KdnCxNxK_qUBpj8k-FRlf_Nl3fx0PI-5yf4ChUuo3WFUBVMDF_BrVP_vRSssW2oTNRxP6noK0eObW-sxh9MQi1T7R04iO6PmykxV36LUBAPqQCwhs5ZbltGj-5xsW_mfUP/s1600/IMG_0508.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9jN291ksFw8KdnCxNxK_qUBpj8k-FRlf_Nl3fx0PI-5yf4ChUuo3WFUBVMDF_BrVP_vRSssW2oTNRxP6noK0eObW-sxh9MQi1T7R04iO6PmykxV36LUBAPqQCwhs5ZbltGj-5xsW_mfUP/s320/IMG_0508.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I then cut out matching papers and used the template again to cut out the letters, attaching the paper on top of the card as I wanted. </span><br />

<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify;">I added a bit of ribbon too to delineate between the end of the paper and where the letter begins.</span><br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This is the back of the letter 'B' which I covered too.</span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I decorated the plain letters with some faux stitching, using a fine marker pen to make them stand out more.</span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">On the back of the card, on the 'Y' template part of the card I stamped the Crafters Companion baby stamp onto white card, coloured it in using my watercolour pencils and matted it with darker card.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Hello</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I have been asked by my friend to make a special birthday card for her partner, who is celebrating his 70th birthday next month. He plays the guitar and loves busking. He does a lot of travelling, busking for charity. We decided I should look out for a guitar card.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0W7Txw-eu50yyZZl7cghcFpNrPz6dHtyuBc7EHeJEmsmeiWQC9VxthHwZjVT776YSs9e7nXVY-xjModSLlFPwpospB_XUmpFeDBWOVw93YQDZqX4_VMTkZTK6UjhO7wQYmjqztQOiFrHH/s1600/IMG_4117.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0W7Txw-eu50yyZZl7cghcFpNrPz6dHtyuBc7EHeJEmsmeiWQC9VxthHwZjVT776YSs9e7nXVY-xjModSLlFPwpospB_XUmpFeDBWOVw93YQDZqX4_VMTkZTK6UjhO7wQYmjqztQOiFrHH/s320/IMG_4117.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Not long after we had been talking Arty Farty came on the television with this guitar template! So I sent off for it. I have used her templates before and she explains things very simply with both written and picture instructions. (Just what I need!)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDQsSwORQ0Nch5sIx3RdXB8w62RZoHwuxoBQ7xqR5o8bWW8qivvHkeBZrBGmpSv0V0-rMK8n6Jcx1BoOA8d5LsLiridI23tENNkRKgMR6DIP9CgpX0TZ2SKbcCDXam7tlbKITouWmL4eId/s1600/IMG_4118.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDQsSwORQ0Nch5sIx3RdXB8w62RZoHwuxoBQ7xqR5o8bWW8qivvHkeBZrBGmpSv0V0-rMK8n6Jcx1BoOA8d5LsLiridI23tENNkRKgMR6DIP9CgpX0TZ2SKbcCDXam7tlbKITouWmL4eId/s320/IMG_4118.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The pack comes with templates for two guitars, small and large together with a presentation box and also a guitar stand. So to start with I decided to make the small guitar first. You choose the colours of the card you want to use. All you need is card, peel offs and brads. Everything is so well explained and I was able to follow very easily. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYgKIkCpXXkUZl5kdYXiJFhW2y0KfWHs-RZqz0aP_oGdcsvBmKINub_ivvK9Kd2BMf1I336M11X3_FMMrDzmXewv2d-E3FqJ6Z8y6GYmdsNhQp9Ue9AuzqXagUc9B_LwZeAQYGnDN-a2Aw/s1600/IMG_4119.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYgKIkCpXXkUZl5kdYXiJFhW2y0KfWHs-RZqz0aP_oGdcsvBmKINub_ivvK9Kd2BMf1I336M11X3_FMMrDzmXewv2d-E3FqJ6Z8y6GYmdsNhQp9Ue9AuzqXagUc9B_LwZeAQYGnDN-a2Aw/s320/IMG_4119.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The detail is quite incredible. The 'bits' at the top of the guitar which adjust the tension of the strings (you can tell I know very little about guitars nor technically minded!) are made using brads.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXEhVW5WMGkdMGUcn8f15grP_VErlLiyP0RVVUATQ7zIPUDi0wkoDqgo8ReI_2wSa0PW2tYqig_hfrZ9zuaU8DrVFCaACSxQB3qwX_pPcbGOYt9rillKfRPoC8hcwfVYEhTOY8YoZI8vcY/s1600/IMG_4120.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXEhVW5WMGkdMGUcn8f15grP_VErlLiyP0RVVUATQ7zIPUDi0wkoDqgo8ReI_2wSa0PW2tYqig_hfrZ9zuaU8DrVFCaACSxQB3qwX_pPcbGOYt9rillKfRPoC8hcwfVYEhTOY8YoZI8vcY/s320/IMG_4120.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify;">The frets are peel offs and I have threaded silver thread to make up the strings.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The template for the box has a little handle just like a real carrying case.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I attached the guitar to some matching card, matted onto gold card and added some gold peel offs to make it into an actual card. The case fits the card perfectly.</span></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBe9AkoES7TSg_-atOxx0-q5zzqIDaMbq4x1JzDTi7PzbE_rPA_ihfN-8r4eOKX1K3LNEPwJ5qMwolfh1z-5mWPRXbjdTSMRzKB2A1l7fvJdF8wK_tRTL3VOndLca_zN5MyRLAoMe-dODW/s1600/IMG_4124.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBe9AkoES7TSg_-atOxx0-q5zzqIDaMbq4x1JzDTi7PzbE_rPA_ihfN-8r4eOKX1K3LNEPwJ5qMwolfh1z-5mWPRXbjdTSMRzKB2A1l7fvJdF8wK_tRTL3VOndLca_zN5MyRLAoMe-dODW/s320/IMG_4124.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Apparently the large guitar doesn't fit into the box. That is what the stand is for. I'm going to try and make the larger one with an acetate stand and if it comes out OK I'll show you. I need to make a few examples of different cards so my friend can choose. What she doesn't want, I can always use!</span></div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I had to make a card for my son's father-in-law - what the heck do I do? I knew they had several cats so thought the Spice Cats stamp would work. I coloured the image in using my usual watercolour pencils, which I do love. I find them so flexible and feel in control of my colouring.</span></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdbYA0Hpodq1uZ5Tp-OG4HfmZQsOza4lQ3HoTO_lYEDh95N_-2FOhEddVkSWg3RjrlE1lONF66nXu3FbJYBRv9_gqJf_29sm3_tuXp_bXR5KQuhhh_9xnpQ2xVQ28rb8Uc58FacLQNgzbA/s1600/IMG_0683.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdbYA0Hpodq1uZ5Tp-OG4HfmZQsOza4lQ3HoTO_lYEDh95N_-2FOhEddVkSWg3RjrlE1lONF66nXu3FbJYBRv9_gqJf_29sm3_tuXp_bXR5KQuhhh_9xnpQ2xVQ28rb8Uc58FacLQNgzbA/s320/IMG_0683.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Matting the image onto red card I added it onto the straight line background, using the Hougie board, which I had matted onto red card again. I then added some Craftwork Cards card candy. The whole image was then put onto a deckle edged card which I found in my stash. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEic_2ppQ_tU2gVBCMRS2Gxm1YH6xViXy03I19aWzCdJvUwkR62kzE3WcdMNvyfQ7T0LJdyd84cUoklpW1fIrl13eVsVC2Zif-0fq1EuJUImgXXUHE2HKxTDoj23Y9TxCdy_m5mi_hG7oqG4/s1600/IMG_0685.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEic_2ppQ_tU2gVBCMRS2Gxm1YH6xViXy03I19aWzCdJvUwkR62kzE3WcdMNvyfQ7T0LJdyd84cUoklpW1fIrl13eVsVC2Zif-0fq1EuJUImgXXUHE2HKxTDoj23Y9TxCdy_m5mi_hG7oqG4/s320/IMG_0685.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This time the main stamp comes with a smaller image of a cat, the face of another cat and a little flower. Really good value for money. So I used the face of the cat on the fly leaf of the insert. Card done!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Hi</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Having found the Loralie Art Stamps I must show you this one which I thought was perfect for a lady who loves to shop or party! This one is called Party Girl, but I think it could be shopping or partying. The stamps are just that little bit quirky.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjoHfcsxpaFCWszS8JTj2w-KoRS0YQNTgojHyLoG4WV2he2D9ymndmcNkRQ6to_XPzMczKXZR1QWWg4TMXFLdxSoOdOK3aiCs3pgS-Wri0QVhANUf7bw8NwBC-4bUigQMaMm8hRU3yuKpir/s1600/IMG_0844.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjoHfcsxpaFCWszS8JTj2w-KoRS0YQNTgojHyLoG4WV2he2D9ymndmcNkRQ6to_XPzMczKXZR1QWWg4TMXFLdxSoOdOK3aiCs3pgS-Wri0QVhANUf7bw8NwBC-4bUigQMaMm8hRU3yuKpir/s320/IMG_0844.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Again I used my water colour pencils to colour the stamp and then matted the image onto green card.</span></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpUvO4NknTKG3u5F-GazykBQL9o9yKBhnZ3vUeIKx_Fm59hXkzG3tR5EbOIGRIyx6RCaZA_oxJno3SmZG_VXPENBBptjs0TqV_KCS8uEPH29CN19hjAGqx-ydFm328ubW4Sx3t-Ko291K_/s1600/IMG_0845.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpUvO4NknTKG3u5F-GazykBQL9o9yKBhnZ3vUeIKx_Fm59hXkzG3tR5EbOIGRIyx6RCaZA_oxJno3SmZG_VXPENBBptjs0TqV_KCS8uEPH29CN19hjAGqx-ydFm328ubW4Sx3t-Ko291K_/s320/IMG_0845.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I do like my Hougie board which makes it so easy to draw straight lines using it onto Centura card. It is such an easy background to make and is something different. I matted this onto green card again and then popped it onto a plain card. </span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I added some matching card candy and I was done.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimd083u3Er5HSz6HGIRPnhq7WZ7HnpEWYPZC1Qh5kPkEyzircAg10IHdrT81rxg3FwMERuqV42daKBIriMOLffX_UEdA5t6DrAis7vwlg-Gzbuc1r1NZwzupxYJxu6_rnwPsvo7bteelnx/s1600/IMG_0846.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimd083u3Er5HSz6HGIRPnhq7WZ7HnpEWYPZC1Qh5kPkEyzircAg10IHdrT81rxg3FwMERuqV42daKBIriMOLffX_UEdA5t6DrAis7vwlg-Gzbuc1r1NZwzupxYJxu6_rnwPsvo7bteelnx/s320/IMG_0846.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This time the main stamp comes with several smaller stamps such as flowers, bows and parcels so I added a parcel onto the inside leaf of the card. I think it makes the card look that little bit special, don't you?</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Hello</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Today, and for a couple of more blogs, I thought I'd show you a range of stamps and cards I discovered a while ago. The stamps are Loralie Art Stamps and there are a great variety of quirky designs which at first, I wasn't sure of but when I had to make a couple of cards for men, I thought fitted the remit rather well.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJMNFGJBnqYFeqooa4ReK177U82dq9F8SbN5-ZfJMnXEXy7imnkzGnuuiy3Up94OT3uvXThUj0_dfxr1DCHga8fHxK6tps66I1aLWiza4szgRSRXtqCOv4Gqjd4BcLKYG68xMZ7BC_g4Yd/s1600/IMG_0678.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJMNFGJBnqYFeqooa4ReK177U82dq9F8SbN5-ZfJMnXEXy7imnkzGnuuiy3Up94OT3uvXThUj0_dfxr1DCHga8fHxK6tps66I1aLWiza4szgRSRXtqCOv4Gqjd4BcLKYG68xMZ7BC_g4Yd/s320/IMG_0678.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The first card I had to make was for my son. He does love cooking, when he's got the time, experimenting and bar-b-ques etc and he and my daughter-in-law love entertaining.</span></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZgpj7ErkJGXiNzRR2NfZSXjYdinpRkkTWo7nVbyLWOhhgBq86ec9KNcD3dK6k0PoOuYQ11rJfmNecXk6QRUpyJDKPwQ-YnuKbEhxgTc9Rb8BgdFRTSrzh3KgpQxdBjjaSueXNyUkc5FoK/s1600/IMG_0679.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZgpj7ErkJGXiNzRR2NfZSXjYdinpRkkTWo7nVbyLWOhhgBq86ec9KNcD3dK6k0PoOuYQ11rJfmNecXk6QRUpyJDKPwQ-YnuKbEhxgTc9Rb8BgdFRTSrzh3KgpQxdBjjaSueXNyUkc5FoK/s320/IMG_0679.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">So I chose this stamp, called Beau as I thought it was a rather appropriate and not too feminine. I used my watercolour pencils to colour him in, and I thought it came out rather well. I matted the stamped outline onto black card, having distressed the card slightly. I then used some card which I had embossed using the Hougie board, drawing straight lines across the whole card and then distressing it to match the card. This was also matted onto black card. The whole thing was then mounted onto Crafters' Companion Hint of Silver Centura card. I then added a few Craftwork Cards' card candy to match. The sentiment stamp was one I bought in Australia.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWH124ffGcWnF1-x3X4neI0JqnqWar5sUzuvfZfH3DtdB6UH5aBHgq8Kzq7svjnm4EHwJ8jn3bfgYUVDoeMCueZQIt4rmbKj5j_1obFCNtUfIIi2HuwEeIYCoc_LIVlsLLMbfWz0aNbSZJ/s1600/IMG_0681.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWH124ffGcWnF1-x3X4neI0JqnqWar5sUzuvfZfH3DtdB6UH5aBHgq8Kzq7svjnm4EHwJ8jn3bfgYUVDoeMCueZQIt4rmbKj5j_1obFCNtUfIIi2HuwEeIYCoc_LIVlsLLMbfWz0aNbSZJ/s320/IMG_0681.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This is the inside page as the stamps give you more than just the main element. You have the facility to re-stamp the burger, the shoes and also the hat which would lend itself to decoupage too. Brilliant!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Hello</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I really must get myself sorted! I usually manage to prepare several blog entries at once so I'm ahead of myself. For some reason I can't catch up! I'm determined to knuckle down and sort out some more.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">OK. Re-reading my last blog I realised I didn't identify the name of the actual place we stayed. It was called Thorpe Forest holidays near the River Thet and had only been opened in May 2014. Their link is www.forestholidays.co.uk if you're interested. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This was a bald eagle (I think). Unfortunately we just missed the demonstration and only came upon them as they'd finished! Story of my life! Anyway he was so magnificent I couldn't resist taking a quick picture.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The last picture (you'll be pleased to know!) is of my daughter with the girls. Behind them is the model of a dinosaur which every so often, starts moving his head and let's out this enormous roar! You can imagine how he made everyone jump the first time they walked past! Once they all realised he wasn't coming to get them, everyone wanted to have selfies with him.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Right, having bored you enough I'm going now! I promise that'll be enough of my doings and back to my makes etc.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Hello</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I am sorry I have missed a few weeks of blogging. I've had a very busy time. My daughter and son-in-law invited me to go with them as a surprise to Norfolk. It was a brilliant cabin and beautifully done. It would sleep 10 people and it also had a tree house and a Jacuzzi.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">We took it in turns to sleep in the tree house which was just at the end of the cabin. Completely independent from the cabin and self contained. It looked out into the woods and was as if you actually in the trees.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The weather was ideal - a bit cloudy but not too hot. Occasional showers but not enough to spoil our outings.</span></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This is us at the dining table. There was only six of us so we had plenty of room.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">On the first full day we decided to go to the nearby zoo. We didn't think it would be very large, but in fact we were very surprised at the number of animals they had. We were there all day.</span> </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">As we walked through into the zoo itself we came across this on the wall. It was such a good idea. Crayons were supplied and everyone could doodle or colour in whatever they wanted. Afterwards the board could just be wiped clean ready for the next family.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"> </span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify;">I've seen the numerous painted cows all over the country but never camels.</span><br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">We were in time to see the feeding of the penguins. It was very cleverly laid out in that we could see right down onto them as they toddled along under the bridge we could all stand on.</span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The next stop was the butterfly house. There were quite a few butterflies. but the flowers were absolutely stunning. I think this was was the Bird in Paradise flower, but I'm not sure. They were so striking though.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Then we saw the Snow Leopard - at first he was camouflaged so well he was hard to see but he looks so relaxed and cuddly (not!) !</span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The next day we decided to go 'geo-caching'. Something none of us had done before. We found it great fun, and very clever. We found all the items, deciphered all the clues and our reward was free hot chocolates, coffee etc! Very yummy.</span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Behind the cabin there were lots of fallen trees and bracken, just waiting for us to build a camp. Such a lot of fun and mucky enough to please the children. </span></div>

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Hello</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">I thought I'd show you another men's card I made using Crafters Companion Sara's Just for Men dies. I can't take any credit for it though - Sara demonstrated this on her blog.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTmFd1PmWIW_3pLr9Glzxp5LWTyijKBPaIGT1xkRybyh3tligvC0B_yADULoB4TlaAKmob1eakP1UTnQ-NVw_5lwNpKkTdCqMq-ozUgvIJ3ZpncAVm3NKGBGbUdOMX5tSmbUaX4H7Zrcyr/s1600/IMG_3666.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTmFd1PmWIW_3pLr9Glzxp5LWTyijKBPaIGT1xkRybyh3tligvC0B_yADULoB4TlaAKmob1eakP1UTnQ-NVw_5lwNpKkTdCqMq-ozUgvIJ3ZpncAVm3NKGBGbUdOMX5tSmbUaX4H7Zrcyr/s320/IMG_3666.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">It was very simple to make, following her instructions. I used paper from my own stash and matted and layered it onto a white A5 card.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCetiheUaJJcCn0xyKt06Yc9lBDz9MW2YOkRrzUS0WdaiVz8GZyXbAwVwBtkafacFXDE8gj4Le26RNZVLD1GhUJ-tcPy2z-G-DwOEHUi48ONInbGW1yo7A32lvvvLKpzxGmb0i73ezIRis/s1600/IMG_3667.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCetiheUaJJcCn0xyKt06Yc9lBDz9MW2YOkRrzUS0WdaiVz8GZyXbAwVwBtkafacFXDE8gj4Le26RNZVLD1GhUJ-tcPy2z-G-DwOEHUi48ONInbGW1yo7A32lvvvLKpzxGmb0i73ezIRis/s320/IMG_3667.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I cut the collar, straps and apron template from more white card, inked the edges and drew faux stitching around the edges. I used some brads to attach the straps to the apron front, making it look more authentic. They are then stuck onto the card using flat glue.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">The tools were die cut using the Just for Men dies from silver and blue card, cut out the pocket from matching paper and then popped the tools on as shown in the picture. The pocket was attached using Collall decoupage glue. The sentiment was also from Sara's Just for Men dies.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">I am so pleased with the end result and I think I shall be making a few for my handy sons!! </span><br />

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Hi</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Today I thought I'd show you a birthday card for my grandson in Australia. My inspiration was an article published in Issue 10 CC Crafter's Inspiration magazine, made by my clever friend Sandra Dry.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIF7s9_OndLYWGGASrK_ScYez4LmaO7hr0RH3xI4Sg4Fo811Gc63h4T9Cd6KD2m9FXjEuxwrpPtGsY5YtJPg8c8xGe4T4xYdXdTsmZCqXYwradE7CdEzhTgeiz2nzoxRxuBKnH_vBTDOv2/s1600/IMG_3886.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIF7s9_OndLYWGGASrK_ScYez4LmaO7hr0RH3xI4Sg4Fo811Gc63h4T9Cd6KD2m9FXjEuxwrpPtGsY5YtJPg8c8xGe4T4xYdXdTsmZCqXYwradE7CdEzhTgeiz2nzoxRxuBKnH_vBTDOv2/s320/IMG_3886.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I used embossed some Kraft card with a CC folder and then inked the edges and brushed the ink over the pattern to emphases it.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I used the free gift multi-sized hexagon die from the magazine and cut out some blue card and then the smaller sized die on some pattern paper, which I think was another freebie paper from somewhere!! I inked them up and then glued one on top of the other, stamping the letters on and then colouring them in blue using Spectrum Noir pens. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I cut some even smaller hexagons from Kraft and blue cards, inked them up and stamped a pattern using the free stamps which also came with the magazine. I then added the number four to the largest one and glittered it using the Aqua glitter pens, glueing all of them wherever you want them, using the Collall glue to raise them up. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The embossing folder was not big enough to cover the card in one go, so I did it twice and covered the join with some ribbon I had in my stash. I was so pleased I had just enough scrap of ribbon which was the right colour of blue and brown. This was all I had and it fitted perfectly!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I attached the card onto the base of a 7 x 5 Kraft card so the ribbon ends were hidden. Then position the letter tiles where you want them, using Collall decoupage glue to raise them up slightly.</span></div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I used the Happy Birthday die from Sara's Just for Men and cut two, one in Kraft card and one in blue. I then glued one on top of the other, slightly off-setting them so it looked like a shadow, using flat glue.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Hello again</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I've been fascinated watching Barbara Gray and her 'parching' cards, using her Clarity Groovi system. I have always loved the Clarity stamps and I've made several cards using them. However parchment itself is very time consuming and you need to be exceedingly accurate. I am neither patient nor accurate so Clarity's Groovi system was perfect for me. I bought the Groovi starter kit which came with some plates. I had quite a few practices, all of which started off well but I usually made some errors, like being too heavy handed, splitting the parchment, putting the pricking on the wrong side, using water to colour in and warping the parchment etc etc. However I did learn from my mistakes! </span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Anyway I persevered and finally made a sheet of parchment that looked reasonably decent.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoUBZNapMIn-Yqzkm1ybY1onn4rvEmkBt5okfQpBSSMdavn1ucxxgr9zxZyxTZk609gRgdMH-mhMWCYQm3Y-wagSsXuKiapy84m5ICMTeLNSyLHOSCGIqDPQOA1NWJEV7DFjHke1FGVzh4/s1600/IMG_3692.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoUBZNapMIn-Yqzkm1ybY1onn4rvEmkBt5okfQpBSSMdavn1ucxxgr9zxZyxTZk609gRgdMH-mhMWCYQm3Y-wagSsXuKiapy84m5ICMTeLNSyLHOSCGIqDPQOA1NWJEV7DFjHke1FGVzh4/s320/IMG_3692.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I had an occasion to make a baby boy card earlier on last week and coincidentally Clarity had brought out some baby plates earlier last month. I watched some of the demonstrations on Hochanda and thought I'd like to have a go with this, so sent off for the baby plates from Crafters Companion. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSCzLVtRcYoBWE0TszYGj4nbMu6w5nzAhSf52Z0nS94JiPKilEEzvl_f6oVg7Ilg_yexJ_JT3eUwZM2cT2rHeog9z2oHUqZNvw3iiOSa1IHexMev9vSe89DYvdnGAQUBJUbTcMKC2fCtuP/s1600/IMG_3693.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSCzLVtRcYoBWE0TszYGj4nbMu6w5nzAhSf52Z0nS94JiPKilEEzvl_f6oVg7Ilg_yexJ_JT3eUwZM2cT2rHeog9z2oHUqZNvw3iiOSa1IHexMev9vSe89DYvdnGAQUBJUbTcMKC2fCtuP/s320/IMG_3693.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I can't take credit for the design of this card. I used one of the Hochanda demonstrations for the inspiration, but had to adapt it slightly as I didn't have all the plates they used.</span></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhscdx87SMXnjZBGBRgDvXr5GRxDcZrW_IG5Pj7eC3lwKqqaHScb2QorNHxy6YF58JzYztHYp50TGjSlazAGwIDh52ZBwiyLHrC1IxBbrMwsLGFSeITd1RcI7VhteqraD_qp4BO53CKly3d/s1600/IMG_3694.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhscdx87SMXnjZBGBRgDvXr5GRxDcZrW_IG5Pj7eC3lwKqqaHScb2QorNHxy6YF58JzYztHYp50TGjSlazAGwIDh52ZBwiyLHrC1IxBbrMwsLGFSeITd1RcI7VhteqraD_qp4BO53CKly3d/s320/IMG_3694.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I loved the little feet, bottle and dummy and they came out rather well, I thought. You have to work from the back of the parchment (which I found out to my cost!). Once you've drawn the pattern, which is already engraved onto the plate, making it much easier and more accurate, you then can colour it and also use some 'white work' to emphasise different aspects of the plate.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjk5ecPGrve0kxfbM2yv4eUUjomcTe77P8eCfNBWKwpGHnf1YWP6UGoHbyjxyk08BL23zbEWNeBUycXB_TRZtAvf6i4bpb8mlzCIXviXeB7BeaQg_sl1nhVh56tNbP6U01_scNkadk8M3Of/s1600/IMG_3695.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjk5ecPGrve0kxfbM2yv4eUUjomcTe77P8eCfNBWKwpGHnf1YWP6UGoHbyjxyk08BL23zbEWNeBUycXB_TRZtAvf6i4bpb8mlzCIXviXeB7BeaQg_sl1nhVh56tNbP6U01_scNkadk8M3Of/s320/IMG_3695.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I added the hearts myself and glittered them from the front and also added the words 'Baby Boy'.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">As you probably know parchment paper is notorious for being difficult to fix on to card as the glue or sticky tape will show. Clarity have come up with a solution which is a punch which makes slots in the card to insert the parchment paper into. I haven't quite got the hang of it as the parchment in this card is a bit lumpy bumpy but I think its not too bad.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Hope you like it. Thank you for looking.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Hi there</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Here's another men's card using Crafters Companion 'Just for Men' range of dies and embossing folders.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; text-align: justify;">I showed this card to a friend of mine and she has asked me to make one for her. She is going to America and whilst there it will be the birthday of the son of her friend. She doesn't know his interests or hobbies so she wants something masculine. This seems to fit the bill. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOWXqGAMF9NH1RhWuuva1aJnEBT_Ac1uTeRe3AiJ2WMbDL0krU2wAqDPv07aH7mJcxkT6zAD4xZfGaiIApAEkh6Da_aE9yHR-W9I0Qqj77v5yq_chBCF_in4e56QGWCSNGypUBR3aXRucO/s1600/IMG_3469.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOWXqGAMF9NH1RhWuuva1aJnEBT_Ac1uTeRe3AiJ2WMbDL0krU2wAqDPv07aH7mJcxkT6zAD4xZfGaiIApAEkh6Da_aE9yHR-W9I0Qqj77v5yq_chBCF_in4e56QGWCSNGypUBR3aXRucO/s320/IMG_3469.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<span style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">I made the card with black card stock Using the Clocks embossing folder I embossed some Centura card and also some black card. I cut out parts of the clocks from the black card and put silver gilding wax onto it. I then placed them on top of the embossed clocks. </span></span><br />

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Another of the Just for Men dies is a set of cog wheels in different sizes and shapes so I cut various out onto black card and also onto silver mirri.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">i also used the Happy Birthday die and cut it in the black card.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">I placed the cogs on to the centura embossed card and the sentiment too. I put a couple of cogs on top of the other, just to make a different shape.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">I thought this card could be used both for a man or anyone who is interested in 'steam punk'.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Hello everyone</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Today I thought I'd show a card using my new dies I've bought from Crafters Companion. I fell in love with them when I first saw them being demonstrated on Hochanda as I could think of so many different variations I could make. Men are so difficult to make for, aren't they? So again, using Crafters Companion blog as inspiration, I followed Sara's instructions.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGHhOFHqP-WBglYuR31_G44JjRnr40sTJwBKuDNq3h0KBzwfBRnKOTZif8TAHtV4FiiRPVt55x7g6VFA_ShUnXi9hNm4B32faINLNfjQJjZN_2DzdeYaj61Ec-jLbldkB-WzKyNtNJWnSe/s1600/IMG_3442.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGHhOFHqP-WBglYuR31_G44JjRnr40sTJwBKuDNq3h0KBzwfBRnKOTZif8TAHtV4FiiRPVt55x7g6VFA_ShUnXi9hNm4B32faINLNfjQJjZN_2DzdeYaj61Ec-jLbldkB-WzKyNtNJWnSe/s320/IMG_3442.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><br /></span>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I started off taking 2 pieces of black card and using a Crafters Companion wood grain embossing folder and Sara's Just for Men Clocks embossing folder embossed them both. I used silver and copper gilding wax and gently rubbed over the embossed clocks and also the wood grain. The wax makes the embossing really stand out and shows the folders to their best.</span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Taking some copper coloured and silver mirri board I cut out the tool set from the Just for Men collection. These are really clever and cut all the different parts separately (except for the spanner) so you can make them in various different colour ways.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Using the Happy Birthday embossing folder which has sentiments all over it I embossed the black card and cut out the words I wanted and put gilding wax over them. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I mounted a black card with matching copper mirri board then put the embossed cards on. Where the join was I put ribbon on to hide it, but I forgot to put the ribbon on before I matted it onto the mirri! Next time I'll make sure I do! I placed the tools where I wanted them and mounted the sentiments onto silver mirri and placed them over the tools, using Collall Glue.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">For the insert I used a pale orange (it looks a bit brighter than it actually is!) and used the sentiment die from the Just for Men package.</span></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Good morning </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Isn't it lovely having the longer evenings and sunshine at last? Even though it is still a bit nippy!</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Today I thought I'd show you a 'get well card' I made for a friend of mine who is recovering from an operation. I'd been sorting out some of my stamps (how did I manage to have so many?) and came across a Michael Powell Urban stamp from Docrafts which I hadn't used before (much to my shame!). I thought it would be cheery and summery and quite appropriate for my card. </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7bjCkPnFiDUdLNyOWmzN4pG_MqRvTnC39wodVPAb9itpmmdXw6remxa6P2nX6ClZa_leLlcGF_-VL5QepfsXG2KbccBwarY_P4tRrWXPx061hiMaNUsDbQ4VWAQVP1X7u2dzYwhS2_ca3/s1600/IMG_3227.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7bjCkPnFiDUdLNyOWmzN4pG_MqRvTnC39wodVPAb9itpmmdXw6remxa6P2nX6ClZa_leLlcGF_-VL5QepfsXG2KbccBwarY_P4tRrWXPx061hiMaNUsDbQ4VWAQVP1X7u2dzYwhS2_ca3/s320/IMG_3227.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I used a 6 x 6 white card and used a bright stripy backing paper which I think, was a freebie and matted it onto blue first and then red.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgR8S9EDitpILws_OYcKcqiyX2RtQ6Wz8nMV4xIg3ZWZRBamxdUPmeWtvZIShLcrr38vVujVO3jCDwbXZ5HAvUNUFwKLixJCaJUcerp0TUaEAraRdFyHEmTiZL4f0muQUu1D3N1XnFtZkD6/s1600/IMG_3228.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgR8S9EDitpILws_OYcKcqiyX2RtQ6Wz8nMV4xIg3ZWZRBamxdUPmeWtvZIShLcrr38vVujVO3jCDwbXZ5HAvUNUFwKLixJCaJUcerp0TUaEAraRdFyHEmTiZL4f0muQUu1D3N1XnFtZkD6/s320/IMG_3228.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The seagull stamp I thought was so cute was also a freebie, but I thought it just added to the fun! I slightly coloured him in but not to much detail. He was also matted and layered.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The stamp was coloured in using my usual watercolour pencils and also some Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers. I'm not very confident with these yet, but as I've bought them, I must persevere!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Please excuse both the lack of clarity on the pictures (I don't know why they're not coming up clearer) and also my foot at the bottom of this picture. Not a pretty sight!!</span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Hello</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I thought I'd show you some cards I made taking inspiration from Sara Davies' blog.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCduCSc93JljpcDXvVHKYAYH0rQoDWmnB1Q91OfYlZuSP4oXPwAPqBwcRJvRuG-2Lg-68LLezyCmYIBbPlPi3mF0JPbnDB5Zwdz1ljIys3rjhLYLTni9MfQMFpof9OIBWjkcIJg9YUeXF2/s1600/IMG_2674.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCduCSc93JljpcDXvVHKYAYH0rQoDWmnB1Q91OfYlZuSP4oXPwAPqBwcRJvRuG-2Lg-68LLezyCmYIBbPlPi3mF0JPbnDB5Zwdz1ljIys3rjhLYLTni9MfQMFpof9OIBWjkcIJg9YUeXF2/s320/IMG_2674.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The base of the card is plain white which I have distressed using Tim Holtz Distress Inks. On top of that I added a plain white card.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEho6AxxNJbKt7rXZS1b0YLySsTtVsVSoehaY_aZAZsF-z_obCo1S1A-hVQkZfl5HLL4mq6ugP1t4O1om4Mob9VC2mLVnQx3Jq-KdgcXgsZf2rOWGcjeV9RlUaqff9JSaWRt2-Ws-Hb3KoqK/s1600/IMG_2675.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEho6AxxNJbKt7rXZS1b0YLySsTtVsVSoehaY_aZAZsF-z_obCo1S1A-hVQkZfl5HLL4mq6ugP1t4O1om4Mob9VC2mLVnQx3Jq-KdgcXgsZf2rOWGcjeV9RlUaqff9JSaWRt2-Ws-Hb3KoqK/s320/IMG_2675.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Then using a Cuttlebug embossing folder I embossed some white card which I cut into four equal squares. I then distressed the edges of the four squares with matching distress ink.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLaQtIa7yH1EyzBHaLX3wW3W1jbHEk82xDPffW9-rZLnNaI-UF2vlWr1dVCUHpSKY5OJ_Ds1x_eNHdaYj3DK-fWo-dqN0C2TXJK4bszVQfX8UC65hxxdIoKDGG_a5im6HtSdDycMAA5wSB/s1600/IMG_3252.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLaQtIa7yH1EyzBHaLX3wW3W1jbHEk82xDPffW9-rZLnNaI-UF2vlWr1dVCUHpSKY5OJ_Ds1x_eNHdaYj3DK-fWo-dqN0C2TXJK4bszVQfX8UC65hxxdIoKDGG_a5im6HtSdDycMAA5wSB/s320/IMG_3252.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Die cut some flowers - I used Crafters Companion flower dies and leaves (sorry but I can't remember the name of them!) and Memory Box Serafina Heart and Elegant Scrollwork onto plain white card.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhj3_RtiC2_jCizU3rdc8sAH0xhThVc90b2RTY5G7C_u9nm87KMsHoR1xAD0kNfcGlR5V6xkDvDd-uIn-3HN_URydYx9lLmeQMCk0Fg-HC8mxWPO1sbzTdNnfOLmT9OCCoB4mq2PAJvjBbB/s1600/IMG_2676.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhj3_RtiC2_jCizU3rdc8sAH0xhThVc90b2RTY5G7C_u9nm87KMsHoR1xAD0kNfcGlR5V6xkDvDd-uIn-3HN_URydYx9lLmeQMCk0Fg-HC8mxWPO1sbzTdNnfOLmT9OCCoB4mq2PAJvjBbB/s320/IMG_2676.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Again using the matching distress ink rub the colour onto the card, through the die. The scrollwork and heart dies I sparkled using CC Stick and Stay spray glue and then sprinkled some crystal glitter onto them.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdZmMAqPiGNWdX3xtM04nNog370ozyEW4qVUP_tTbBwWrAmM7_hyphenhyphen1dfPBhzGgLbTJZYudh5OpW1TqsI4_iGXthB8EtvFMG8F8kluPg5qOOWPjM1s6C_8lK-TILm4pEOfPRBMs8b9TYt3cj/s1600/IMG_3251.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdZmMAqPiGNWdX3xtM04nNog370ozyEW4qVUP_tTbBwWrAmM7_hyphenhyphen1dfPBhzGgLbTJZYudh5OpW1TqsI4_iGXthB8EtvFMG8F8kluPg5qOOWPjM1s6C_8lK-TILm4pEOfPRBMs8b9TYt3cj/s320/IMG_3251.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">To assemble the card, place the four squares onto the card, keeping them aligned. Then add the heart and scrollwork onto the card, positioning them so you can see them when the flowers are added. Using silicone glue, put the flowers on the top wherever you want. I also add a little bit of sparkle in the centre of the flowers. I then cut a little label, distressed it and then stamped the message on, using the matching ink.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">And there you have it. I have shown them to quite a few people and they have been very well received.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The pattern consists of two larger mice, two smaller mice and their bed. I thought the mice might be tricky but not the bed - how wrong was I!!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkBOH2Yjt-IRr0F_P7t00LpZPG5gmzzMKqyErEXcj0DdrgpqsbhWWAvz77zKfwkFIrqyHWIww9df8xwUsvDieGYE8saph2JWHDjyTW_7lXxpcXcVnjdtaY_zUQta4GcsyRrhETTFVqSNdn/s1600/IMG_3272.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkBOH2Yjt-IRr0F_P7t00LpZPG5gmzzMKqyErEXcj0DdrgpqsbhWWAvz77zKfwkFIrqyHWIww9df8xwUsvDieGYE8saph2JWHDjyTW_7lXxpcXcVnjdtaY_zUQta4GcsyRrhETTFVqSNdn/s320/IMG_3272.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I matched the mummy and daddy mice's ears to their baby son and daughter and they all have a little string tail! I made the mice from felt and used matching fabric for the ears. The mice were unbelievably easy and the instructions were very good.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmAHOf7k6b9aEGEEQQ-44YujSswmiaW9dljUF3tk2aIqeHioWzvKw7F_TQKWggImVXw4a4vrhtpKprq5QifeS8qd9hXUz8993bEyAg4tYs2gOdvA5FF3Y5NMdTmy5bSygbYZSh_G7A8FzV/s1600/IMG_3275.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmAHOf7k6b9aEGEEQQ-44YujSswmiaW9dljUF3tk2aIqeHioWzvKw7F_TQKWggImVXw4a4vrhtpKprq5QifeS8qd9hXUz8993bEyAg4tYs2gOdvA5FF3Y5NMdTmy5bSygbYZSh_G7A8FzV/s320/IMG_3275.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">However, the bed!! Oh my word I could not get my head around the pattern. I showed it to several sewing people but they were stumped, like me. In the end I emailed them at Love Patchwork & Quilting and explained my problem. They were very helpful and sent me a bit more detail. Unfortunately I still couldn't get my head around it. Eventually I took it with me to Sharon Gammon at WhoopsieDaisyDesigns to see if she could see what I was doing wrong. It took Sharon quite a while, but she eventually managed it! Hurray! and you can see the finished project. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5N7sz3iZ8hvSwNwXU44JLTHF5mwvTHJSKwrQHhr6C7EWX_uUVyO7IE16nGr-TXD2wK1hWpys-hizXXNzZcau95-hLCxNrCB6GMpZhRVYXo52S3udsPTjWEgWpJnRelRUSQie9OROhCHW2/s1600/IMG_3276.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5N7sz3iZ8hvSwNwXU44JLTHF5mwvTHJSKwrQHhr6C7EWX_uUVyO7IE16nGr-TXD2wK1hWpys-hizXXNzZcau95-hLCxNrCB6GMpZhRVYXo52S3udsPTjWEgWpJnRelRUSQie9OROhCHW2/s320/IMG_3276.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">For the bed I made some little patchwork squares and quilted them for the front of the bed, which had some padding on it. The pillow I made it from some white minky material I had in my stash and then padded it out with some toy wadding. The rest of the bed is made up by doing some 'fabric origami' (hence my problems! You use some cotton fabric for both the lining and the bed backing. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I'm still not sure I can work it out again, but I shall make some notes to add to the instructions so I can do it again if necessary. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I really do love it and I hope my grand-daughters will love it too.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Hello</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Today I'd like to show you some coveralls I made for my four grandsons. I hope they will be ideal for them to paint, draw or even eat in. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I made these using a pattern from Sharon Gammon, WhoopsieDaisyDesigns and fell in love with them.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbW9wB5q-XFrz_AI95znLBfjchSYB_NiLxlohU8LEQim8Himx-i_iUsS5N0r_Ampgao3cQDg_Af65pQubL2dOcrhmDS3q6Z5KNh6sZ8HXYQpoMXZhI9BeRqInyrl9MjwEe3zYKuzmTYOxg/s1600/IMG_3034.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbW9wB5q-XFrz_AI95znLBfjchSYB_NiLxlohU8LEQim8Himx-i_iUsS5N0r_Ampgao3cQDg_Af65pQubL2dOcrhmDS3q6Z5KNh6sZ8HXYQpoMXZhI9BeRqInyrl9MjwEe3zYKuzmTYOxg/s320/IMG_3034.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify;">I bought some Super Heroes cotton material from the Pumpkin Patch in Hailsham, East Sussex and lined it in plain yellow cotton with a green pocket. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwSLggKTOSF7AfaZPzY_sEPdgVgGgY1JsAIVvurN6X9LXkYPutJNGRn8xlGxXBNBCr4e30-vW0t6UgRojuPdw1GD2mGHu9f1Bz7EQ9tvFi0GrPIe7zpXvJrGkMguGwqfXHJ0eO2DvQo2cj/s1600/IMG_3035.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwSLggKTOSF7AfaZPzY_sEPdgVgGgY1JsAIVvurN6X9LXkYPutJNGRn8xlGxXBNBCr4e30-vW0t6UgRojuPdw1GD2mGHu9f1Bz7EQ9tvFi0GrPIe7zpXvJrGkMguGwqfXHJ0eO2DvQo2cj/s320/IMG_3035.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify;">I cut out a character from the material and appliquéd it onto the pocket.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: justify;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3_KcyK8CDNVZfo1oF_LwQkEon_vMv6SJhtB69EPPW89021YFk6peOyUzGWOPibt-Ib1fy3OpP9rkLrcq4OUi1hRLMiD9Cjifp2pQhu6ZabkqkLIjWcwfETTS297pa_HDp1Hq3q3t8k55w/s1600/IMG_3036.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3_KcyK8CDNVZfo1oF_LwQkEon_vMv6SJhtB69EPPW89021YFk6peOyUzGWOPibt-Ib1fy3OpP9rkLrcq4OUi1hRLMiD9Cjifp2pQhu6ZabkqkLIjWcwfETTS297pa_HDp1Hq3q3t8k55w/s320/IMG_3036.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The back has two sets of ties one by the neck and one by the waist.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjv3tyvJTipvYrmLnJ9DAWfXaqjIJgoucUAKJMPkbRrscO5uwZuECQv__rix5NDDbLIIxXkojXcyil72EQ0Af4Xkm-MVeqBanRqcv-2DbbVlx6sMiZvl9PQYlhw9tiaOrYxgaP6kbU-XZ_r/s1600/IMG_3030.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjv3tyvJTipvYrmLnJ9DAWfXaqjIJgoucUAKJMPkbRrscO5uwZuECQv__rix5NDDbLIIxXkojXcyil72EQ0Af4Xkm-MVeqBanRqcv-2DbbVlx6sMiZvl9PQYlhw9tiaOrYxgaP6kbU-XZ_r/s320/IMG_3030.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The second coverall I made using pirate material which I already had in my stash, on sale from Dunhelm Mills a couple of years ago!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7atXjYXI08gSZLUDuCqE16ThZnLaxxvaodMaufwzKY-TTXI5VWRv6-IxHjx0qeAkVVNEzKM4V0KAS4qc3vPz18T-b0zGMQJvHvJ4Io7v-Lf-8996H0UltHGZdatoFjQAIK-UCZ2C2_KM_/s1600/IMG_3031.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7atXjYXI08gSZLUDuCqE16ThZnLaxxvaodMaufwzKY-TTXI5VWRv6-IxHjx0qeAkVVNEzKM4V0KAS4qc3vPz18T-b0zGMQJvHvJ4Io7v-Lf-8996H0UltHGZdatoFjQAIK-UCZ2C2_KM_/s320/IMG_3031.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This time I cut out the treasure chest and the pirates' galleon and appliquéd them onto the pocket before I put the pocket on the main fabric.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiR44GUy6LCVv4wbL_VIMLRh_49sj0MT7KTsywXJ7qUC3KCKljzWZ5TrsMz3hHXbc-hQELptBfw-rsLs3ArBcN_q9dhWpn4Lz2Hm-6anc7A7IWtRY9TX4lEAmBdwD-nLLfmDnQAlpPEFQC4/s1600/IMG_3032.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiR44GUy6LCVv4wbL_VIMLRh_49sj0MT7KTsywXJ7qUC3KCKljzWZ5TrsMz3hHXbc-hQELptBfw-rsLs3ArBcN_q9dhWpn4Lz2Hm-6anc7A7IWtRY9TX4lEAmBdwD-nLLfmDnQAlpPEFQC4/s320/IMG_3032.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">As you can see I lined it in red cotton and used plain blue cotton for the pocket. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8rEY2Dhql1lLZbP3eHqW7lz7jtXp_rkVsa7vaiEA3DLqjAvGq8p39hY0WVcFUF0nBzxHVBuhWDDTqAf5UK2JzkEKak2KCL0vVc2X9G7d3gM4DiBTV7Dt4_IpyD0F_4MW6rCQX8NXcdCfB/s1600/IMG_3033.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8rEY2Dhql1lLZbP3eHqW7lz7jtXp_rkVsa7vaiEA3DLqjAvGq8p39hY0WVcFUF0nBzxHVBuhWDDTqAf5UK2JzkEKak2KCL0vVc2X9G7d3gM4DiBTV7Dt4_IpyD0F_4MW6rCQX8NXcdCfB/s320/IMG_3033.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Again I put two sets of ties on the back.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">These two will be winging their way to Australia together with a present for my grand-daughter, which I shall blog about soon.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I also made a spiderman one and a woodland one for my other two grandsons, but I forgot to take photos of them! </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">My grandsons range from 16 months to 6 years old and I have made the same size for them all. The beauty of this pattern is that it will fit all sizes around the neck and waist and all that changes is the length. I must say it is quite long on my 16 month old grandson but he is probably likely to make more mess than the others! (possibly!)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Thank you for looking.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This one I sent to my sister-in-law. It was a bit out of my comfort zone, but I think it came out quite well.</span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I matted the card onto gold and then used Crafter's Companion Verity Rose Starlet embossing folder onto black card. I then rubbed Pebeo gold gilding wax over the embossed area, making it look like sun rays. </span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I stamped the whole stamp on the card and then used the corner stamp on the right hand part of the card.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnP8TefJSwj_f_LMueljvXft2jc-XzdHdmrTW5mOsLQm8Y5v7QVcASn0q4g1Fu00IZXx6lR2oglq55wRPMHDAn7TL1P4Mh9C9m_MEQKli8ZiB2CueUwlOEbeN8JFyAhf0XfCgyKLvlcupz/s1600/IMG_2891.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnP8TefJSwj_f_LMueljvXft2jc-XzdHdmrTW5mOsLQm8Y5v7QVcASn0q4g1Fu00IZXx6lR2oglq55wRPMHDAn7TL1P4Mh9C9m_MEQKli8ZiB2CueUwlOEbeN8JFyAhf0XfCgyKLvlcupz/s320/IMG_2891.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The other cards I made were a lot quicker to make. I used the Clarity daffodil stamp and again coloured it in with my watercolour pencils. I used my Crafter's Companion nested circle die and I can't remember where I got the paper from. I think it was printed from one of the CC CDs, but don't ask me which one!!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I made several of these cards as they were so simple to do.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The Happy Easter stamp I used for all the cards was from Jayne Nestorenko's Cute Companions Romance set.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Hello, me again!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Today I'd like to show you a card I made using the Accordion Die from Crafters Companion. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-RxXYDbFSnFc/VuQPYIlmwZI/AAAAAAAACRc/QWgzRJlfUKQ2pSO5XyjNOyiu-TRQJ6Tww/s1600/IMG_2334.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-RxXYDbFSnFc/VuQPYIlmwZI/AAAAAAAACRc/QWgzRJlfUKQ2pSO5XyjNOyiu-TRQJ6Tww/s320/IMG_2334.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I used the square die and the flower decorative die that goes with the square accordion. The concept of the accordion die is to cut the main card out of plain card first of all. Then using a contrasting colour card cut out the decorative die. You have to cut the decorative die twice to fit each square and it joins seamlessly in the middle.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-BnA4gGuK4us/VuQPXNOjDgI/AAAAAAAACRY/FRS_a33B8iQ9gSDAN1WvAq85qiCY7cJSQ/s1600/IMG_2335.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-BnA4gGuK4us/VuQPXNOjDgI/AAAAAAAACRY/FRS_a33B8iQ9gSDAN1WvAq85qiCY7cJSQ/s320/IMG_2335.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I cut two complete squares, which meant cutting the decorative die eight times, front and back. You can use wet glue or 'Stick It' on the back of the card to stick the decorative diecut on the card. </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ARmJfZ869RY/VuQPedBDppI/AAAAAAAACRg/94XYCIpPO7kXbl5JyaP5wjPk0iUuTjruQ/s1600/IMG_2337.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ARmJfZ869RY/VuQPedBDppI/AAAAAAAACRg/94XYCIpPO7kXbl5JyaP5wjPk0iUuTjruQ/s320/IMG_2337.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I then cut two different sized squares using the dies included in the square die to matt onto the plain square. I cut a flower using a Crafters Companion die to attach to the front of the card. I also used a butterfly die cut and a sentiment die.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-q3_Q3lZThgA/VuQPj-eSQsI/AAAAAAAACRk/RgsbVezRzOgqXK778Jj4RYrUbSxzOTxWg/s1600/IMG_2338.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-q3_Q3lZThgA/VuQPj-eSQsI/AAAAAAAACRk/RgsbVezRzOgqXK778Jj4RYrUbSxzOTxWg/s320/IMG_2338.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The beauty of the accordion die is you can make a card with as many accordions as you like. You could spell out a message, putting a different letter on each square.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7CaHkhnbGP4/VuQPqYagdKI/AAAAAAAACRo/z1Gd9M0NLysy1L1Vd6QyOEttCnlP9k0Ag/s1600/IMG_2339.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7CaHkhnbGP4/VuQPqYagdKI/AAAAAAAACRo/z1Gd9M0NLysy1L1Vd6QyOEttCnlP9k0Ag/s320/IMG_2339.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The accordion dies come in different shapes and sizes, circles, oblongs, rectangles and squares. You can also get different patterns but they are not interchangeable, they fit the individual shapes. I find them very versatile but they do take a long time to make; however I do think they are very effective.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><div style="text-align: justify;">
Hi</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I thought you might like to see this little card. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Dna8jNhPAK4/VuQF4qgV6UI/AAAAAAAACQ8/EFy_whlnS7kb729MYxJAexC6YSY9gSODg/s1600/IMG_2367.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Dna8jNhPAK4/VuQF4qgV6UI/AAAAAAAACQ8/EFy_whlnS7kb729MYxJAexC6YSY9gSODg/s320/IMG_2367.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The stamp is from Meadow Cottage Bears - Teddy Bears Picnic - Crafters Companion and the papers are from one of their CDs, but I can't remember which one!! I think it may be from Makey Bakey Mice. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-9O9AY99YUv4/VuQF6hN2eLI/AAAAAAAACRA/_SsLfBGZzhILFzH_2oQ1xpLjXEmtMau7Q/s1600/IMG_2368.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-9O9AY99YUv4/VuQF6hN2eLI/AAAAAAAACRA/_SsLfBGZzhILFzH_2oQ1xpLjXEmtMau7Q/s320/IMG_2368.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I matted the card onto dark blue Bazzil card stock and used the same card stock for die cutting the 'Happy Birthday'. The die was from Crafters Companion Die'sire range.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I hope you like the card.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Thank you for looking.</div>

<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Hello again</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Today I would like to share with you another make, pattern and material from the clever Sharon from WhoopsieDaisyDesigns. This is a design for a peg bag which you can hang round your neck, leaving your hands free to hang up the clothes.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-67CvIuWRWLQ/VuP2BNyvZsI/AAAAAAAACQM/XWi0AM7fWYAINI-gN2QrQtYXrsKgDTxlw/s1600/IMG_2374.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-67CvIuWRWLQ/VuP2BNyvZsI/AAAAAAAACQM/XWi0AM7fWYAINI-gN2QrQtYXrsKgDTxlw/s320/IMG_2374.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This is the front which has two pockets at the front. The pink spotted contrast marks the two pockets, one in front and one behind. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ZP6t5BDaLsk/VuP2BJJAM_I/AAAAAAAACQQ/eu4o_1lUBK4oQ7YIpe4EnqYI2y3mn3xGQ/s1600/IMG_2375.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ZP6t5BDaLsk/VuP2BJJAM_I/AAAAAAAACQQ/eu4o_1lUBK4oQ7YIpe4EnqYI2y3mn3xGQ/s320/IMG_2375.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This is the back of the bag. I do love the cats on the material. </span></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-t0rqJXLosN8/VuP2xnSLQXI/AAAAAAAACQU/s2_vlbSRYIs4D_uTB9UbzSMNcgld5qKdQ/s1600/IMG_2377.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-t0rqJXLosN8/VuP2xnSLQXI/AAAAAAAACQU/s2_vlbSRYIs4D_uTB9UbzSMNcgld5qKdQ/s320/IMG_2377.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I made this for my friend's birthday, who loves cats. She was very pleased with it, even though I had to explain to her what it was for!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vwNfi1VAkqw/VuP2zbbfwWI/AAAAAAAACQc/cchW_ZxnTt8jYYB0tXoZl_DkRkpKa0Lag/s1600/IMG_2378.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vwNfi1VAkqw/VuP2zbbfwWI/AAAAAAAACQc/cchW_ZxnTt8jYYB0tXoZl_DkRkpKa0Lag/s320/IMG_2378.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">These two pictures show in more detail the two pockets of the bag. You can see there's plenty of room for pegs.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-1yC01GDlGu8/VuP285-woSI/AAAAAAAACQk/iQpCd91pqFUWpQgV0wGTtNxkrC0YaDlQg/s1600/IMG_2379.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-1yC01GDlGu8/VuP285-woSI/AAAAAAAACQk/iQpCd91pqFUWpQgV0wGTtNxkrC0YaDlQg/s320/IMG_2379.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">It doesn't have to be used for pegs, of course. I think it would be just as useful for gardening or even for crafting. Everything in one place.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
