How are you enjoying this snow???

Well what a performance!  How have you all got on with this weather?  It took me over 2 hours to get from my home in Langney to the hospital.  Normally I can do the journey between 5 - 15 minutes, depending on whether its school holidays or not.  It was unbelieveable.  I tried to go along Cross Levels Way and that was at a standstill so I went via Hampden Park - piece of cake, I thought - over the crossing, no trains - easy peasy.  Wrong !!!  Just round the corner by the Park came to a halt and that's where I stayed!   Ridiculous.  Anyway finally in at work now.  Just got to decide when we leave to get home again!!
Then I get a text from my son and also a so-called 'friend' both in Austalia telling me how hot it is there - 38 degrees!  Did I really need to know that?  No I didn't!
Oh well, let's see what tomorrow brings!
Hope you are all wrapped up safe and warm at home now.
Bye xxx

Not enjoying it at all, I am a real bah humbug when it comes to snow. I can't stand up properly under normal circumstances so I don't have a cat in hells chance in snow/ice LOL!

Hope they let you out early - can you work from home? That is what I am doing at the moment.

Unfortunately I had to go into work - we're 'expected to make every effort'. Anyway it was nottoo bad today - all the roads were reasonably clear and very little traffic. I still let everyone go home early - there's nothing worse than trying to get home in the dark.
You're very sensible though if you can stay home. I hope you all keep snug and warm. I wonder whether we'll be scrapping this weekend? I do hope so xx

Not enjoying it at all. Was driven into London today as trains are rubbish, got tube to work and slipped on wet floor on train, huge purple bruise on thigh :( Hope you are all safe!
